Moroccan Rugs
Moroccan Berber rugs are woven in the mountain regions of Morocco, using pure wool and traditional wooden looms. Most are made by Berber women working within cooperatives, through techniques carried across generations.

Each piece requires between four and eight weeks to complete, depending on size and the complexity of the weave. Over time, these rugs have moved well beyond their origins. They are now recognised as significant objects within contemporary interior design.

Arven works within one specific tradition: the M'Rirt rug, woven in the Middle Atlas. These pieces are defined by a high knot density and an exceptional quality of wool. A compact weave, finished with a flame process, produces a surface that is refined, precise, and unlike anything mass-made.
